1978 Volna (voln-ya) 801 B/W Vidicon Camera
Description as found on Ebay:

"VOLNA - 801" RUSSIAN TV CAMERA 1978 !!!  Black/white , MADE IN USSR ( CCCP ) in 1978 !!! Camera in VERY GOOD cosmetic condition. Comes with Original instruction/manual + electro schematic.

Stand By: Manuals to be posted shortly!

This camera appears to be a stand alone B/W model. Based on the schematic, this camera takes 12 volts DC and returns CCIR standard video. Provision is made to use the trigger to remote start and stop the VTR. Clean and basic. Almost all components appear to be Soviet made. In other words, no Japanese transistors or capacitors.
Another remarkable property of this camera is its use of a half inch diameter vidicon tube! It is the smallest I have ever seen.
.
NEEDED! Someone who can translate the Russian manuals to English so they can be shard by a larger audience. Also, any other information about this camera, it's mating VTR or any thing else, please write!
