Vintage: 197?: An actual 3 tube professional color video camera. Using two plumbicon tubes and one silicon target vidicon tube, these cameras made glorious pictures back in the day. The local TV station, where I spent my teenage years, KRCR, channel 7R in Redding California used these. I loved watching the nightly news just to see the live color video from their studio. The pictures were excellent.

These systems are equipped with a studio camera cable, a junction unit and a camera control unit. This equipment configuration is intended for use with an external broadcast NTSC, PAL or SECAM encoder, an external contour enhancer and external picture / waveform monitor combination. All of these external equipments are available as accessories.
